Chaps Plaid Shirt & Pants Set
A & B are having picture day at school today. I found these cute matching Chaps outfits at Kohls. Are they not adorable? Brennan looked like a little man all dressed up in his plaid shirt and khaki pants, and Ashlyn looked like a little runway model as always. I can't wait to see the how the pictures turned out. I'll be sure to post them once I get them.
My lovely 4 year old just informed me that some of her panties look like granny panties!?!?!?!? HELLO...................First off why does my 4 year old even care what her panties look like, and second where has she even heard this term used before? Oh dear oh dear! She went through 4 pair of panties tonight before she could find the right pair to wear. I'm telling y'all I'm in BIG trouble with this one! MARK MY WORDS!
I don't know why they came out so fuzzy, but they are the only ones that I have right now. I know that my dad took some too, so when I get some from his I'll post more later. Also, my battery died right around the time of the actual baptism, so that's the reason for none of those pictures. Brennan did GREAT! No crying, no spitting up all over the preacher. WHEW! Isn't he just the cutest thing in that hat? Britt thought that it was the cheesiest thing EVER, but it came with the outfit so he had to wear it, even if it was just for 2 minutes of photo snapping. Too stinkin' cute! I love the picture of Ashlyn and Brennan sitting in the chair together. I'm starting to see so much of Ashlyn in Brennan the older that he gets. I hope that he gets that curly hair.Let me tell you what true love is. Britt and I just celebrated our big 3 year anniversary on Wednesday. I can't believe that it's only been 3 years. It seems like we've been married at least 30. LOL! Anyways, back to what true love is. Y'all know how much I HATE feet! Especially the nasty feet of a man who has an ingrown toenail and has all kinds of foot problems that I won't even go into. YUCK! Ha! =) Well the other night he got a teeny tiny splinter stuck in the bottom of his foot and he wanted mua to get it out. Shhhaaaaaa......................did he know who he was asking to do such a thing?!?!?!?! I mean hello, It's me here who has a huge foot phobia! But guess what I got out the sewing kit, the peroxide, and the tweezers and started the dreaded surgery anyway because that's what true love is all about. When your husband has a splinter, by george, you've got to get it out! ;) I must admit that he was a good patient. He didn't whine and jump too much. I finally got the darn thing out after about 30 minutes of picking and plucking. My question is how can something so tiny cause so much pain? Crazy! So Happy Anniversary Babe! You know I really must love you when I have my hands all over your feet for nearly half an hour. My friends...........That's what you call TRUE LOVE!
Since it was such a beautiful day on Friday my parents decided to take Ashlyn to the zoo. I couldn't ask for better parents and Ashlyn and Brennan definitely couldn't have picked any better grandparents than the ones that they have! Thanks Nana and Pappaw for taking her! She's still talking about all of the fun that she had.
I wanted to make a few comments about the pictures below.
Monkeys........I just love them. I love their human-like mannerisms. I mean look at this first one. He looks like he's had a REALLY rough day. Maybe like he just caught his wife (below) picking bugs off of another man. Ha!
The Polar Bear. His name is Willie. Really it is. He is smiling for the camera in the first picture. How cute is that. It makes me think of the movie Madagascar. The second picture he's thinking.......Enough of this crap. I'm done for the day!
Out of all of the animals I think that I'd be the monkey cleaning the other monkey. LOL! Britt would HAVE to be the gorilla. That totally fits his stubborn, I run this house, personality. Ashlyn is sooooo the turtle! She is the slowest human being on the face of the planet. I am always late, and 99% of the time it it because of her. And Brennan would have to be the owl. Watching everything with his big eyes, taking in every little thing that his brain can possibly hold.
