It was finally time to get Ashlyn's ears pierced. She had been asking about having earrings for a while. She sees all of the little girls at church with their pretty earrings, and was always asking when she could have some earrings too. I finally gave in. I told Britt that I wasn't going to get her ears pierced until she started asking about it......and since she is ALL GIRL I decided that it was finally the perfect time. We went on Saturday afternoon. She did GREAT. She cried for a split second, but once she looked in the mirror and saw her "big girl" earrings those tears stopped in no time. These aren't the best pics, but I wanted to post a few of Ashlyn and her earrings.
Moriah - I really need you to look at my camera sometime. It is starting to take the crappiest pictures. Also, tell me what kind of camera to get for our next one. I think that I'm going to ask for one for Valentine's Day or my birthday.

Hey girl- YES, I remember telling you I wanted to look at your camera because the pictures you sent were all back and out of focused. I think you are having sensor issues or backfocus problems. It can be many reasons but I will look at it for sure and tell you what is wrong!! No probs!!

When I told Matt that Ashlyn got her ears pierced I thought he was going to cry. He said, "But, she still so little...she can't be acting all grown up, and getting her ears pierced." Boy, are we in trouble if we have a girl!
I think they are very cute!
She looks so sweet with her little earrings! What a big girl for not crying! I'm sure she'll have to have earrings to match every outfit now, lol!
I love her earrings!!!! If Ben and I have children one day, I certainly want a girl (not that boys are bad) but I want a girl that is girlie!!! I want to dress her up, give her dolls, give her Barbies, play house, and end the end - I want to see Ben lovin' a little girl more than anything!!! He loves Eden so much - I can't imagine how he would be with his own!
