I'm not getting sick, I'm not getting sick!

This is what I keep telling myself over and over again trying to convince myself that I'm not sick, when in all actuality I REALLY am sick. It really sucks! I don't want to be sick on my birthday. I want to be able to go out tonight and celebrate my birthday, but it looks like I may be spending it in bed. My throat is sore and has white spots all over the right side. I'm running a fever. I'm not sure what it is because I'm at work right now and don't have a thermometer, but I definitely have one. My right gland is so swollen, and my right ear hurts so bad that I can't stand it any longer. I had to make an appointment to see the doctor TODAY! I can't wait any longer. I'm going a 4:00. WHY WHY WHY?!?!?!?!?! Well, looks like my birthday is going to be a sucky one this year. OK, enough of my whining. I'll shut up now.
