I have to tell you a story about what happened to me this morning. It is hilarious, well I think so. I think that God sits up in heaven just thinking up things to make my life so comical. Anyways, I was leaving this morning to go to work and it was thundering and lightening. Britt had left Nate and Layla (our chocolate Labs for those who don't know who they are) out last night, and I thought that Nate was acting kind of weird, but whatever, he's a dog. I went to open the gate to leave our driveway ,and he jumped in my car. I pulled him out, then he jumped right back in. This process continued about 5 times. The dog is scared of thunder. =) A 90 lb lab afraid of thunder! Well, we kept doing this over and over again because I would pull him out and get back in to shut my door and he would push it right back open and try to jump in. He finally jumped in the driver's side floor board, while I'm in the car and curls up in a ball under my legs. Don't ask me how he fit under there because I still can't believe it, but he did. I finally had to call Britt out of bed to come and hold him while I left. I swear my life could be a sitcom. I guess with everything else going on in my life God knew that I needed a little bit of humor. =)

Jon's dog was the same way! They kept him in their basement when they weren't home and he would curl up in a ball at the top of the stairs when it thundered. When you opened the door he would try to jump into your arms. The only thing was he weighed almost one hundred pounds!
